Where to start with my cycling passion?  Just like most, I can trace my roots of riding bikes back as far as I can remember whether as transportation to play with my friends, get to and from class at Georgia Southern University, get groceries, or for fitness.

Yet after years of working in ministry in a suit and tie and after having our little girl, my wife and I decided to slow our pace in life down and moved to the small town of Lyman, SC to a home which has been in the family since 1956.

Upon arriving in SC we opened a Gourmet Popcorn Shop (popcornanonymous) and I began to fall in love with cycling even more since being within driving distance for the first time in many years of my father who himself is an avid cyclist.

  After opening the popcorn shop I decided to attend Barnett Bicycle Institute (BBI) to delve even deeper into the world of cycling and to refine anything I already knew about bicycle repair, which I came to find wasn’t much.  After attending BBI I have enjoyed providing the best customer service possible to my customers whether by repairing their bikes or providing them with any bike products they need.
